Moment's Trade Blotter is an interactive user interface that allows partner platforms to monitor open orders throughout the order lifecycle, analyze incoming executions from trading venues, and take actions in response to individual orders (e.g. manually push through an order, cancel an order). The sections below outline the Trade Blotter's key functionality, including the Order Review Monitor and Trade Execution Monitor.

Order Review Monitor

The Order Review Monitor allows the partner platform to review orders that have been submitted by clients of the partner. Note that we use “Order” to represent an order that has been submitted by an client, rather than an order that Moment has routed to a bond venue or a trade that has been executed on a bond venue. An “Order” may be associated with multiple “Executions.”

Order Stream Page

As shown in the screenshot below, Order Stream Page allows the Partner to view summaries and selected fields in real time for Orders that have been submitted.

The Order Stream has five tabs, each of which displays an ongoing streams of orders in a specific state:

  1. All Orders: All Orders that have been submitted, across all order lifecycle stages.
  2. Active Orders: Open Orders that have not yet been filled, rejected, or cancelled.
  3. Executed Orders: Orders that have been fully filled.
  4. Rejected Orders: Orders that have been rejected by the risk management system.
  5. Canceled Orders: Orders that have been cancelled by the API user, by the venue, or by Moment.

Order Details Page

The following order fields and reference data fields are available in the monitor for each order. Users are able to customize which of these fields are displayed on the Orders page shown above — all fields appear in the pop-up when a user clicks on a specific order. Users are also be able to filter and sort by any column they include in the Orders Stream page.

Order Details: When a user clicks on an Order, they can view additional details describing the order, view actions they can take regarding the Order, and executions that are associated with the Order (”Execution Status”).
